Yongbin Zhang (ZYBin) is an Australian-Chinese designer with a background as a magazine editor, television advertising designer in China, over time, however, her personal goal she decided to start fashion. In 2007, she enrolled in the Nanyang Academic of Fine Arts (NAFA), Singapore. In 2010, her collection was shown on the catwalk and won an award for the “Best Ready-to-wear” in the final year graduation, Singapore. At the same year, her designs were featured in the T3 magazine. During this time, she also had the opportunity to create a design for a project with Haagen-Dazs. This design was publicised in BAZAAR Singapore 2009. After 2 years of work experience as a men’s boutique store manager in Singapore. She starts her new life in Australia. After graduating from Bachelor of Fashion (Design Technology) at RMIT University in 2018, Zhang is now in her third year of the Bachelor of Fashion (Design) (Honours). Her focus is on the development of her design concepts and craft.
